That’s not my… name!

(Yes, I’m watching/listening to Liverpool playing against Chelsea in London while writing this post. And of course I’m a Liverpool supporter)

I’ve been thinking of bands with nice names. Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, New Young Pony Club, Operator Please, Billion The Vision & The Dancers and… The Ting Tings. What a nice English two-people band, by the way.

And a list. I think I should add this here.

- Upcoming albums I can’t wait to hear -

  • The Ting Tings
  • The Pipettes
  • !!! (Chk chk chk)
  • Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS)
  • Friendly Fires
  • Bonde do Rolê (without Marina Gasolina…)

Ok, let’s go back to The Ting Tings. One more NME band, I know, but they are amazing. For some reason they remind me of New Young Pony Club. It’s really not possible to just listen to “Great DJ” or “That’s Not My Name”.
They are now on NME’s Tour with Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and The Cribs.

the ting tings are great :) But… you cant wait for CSS’s new album? Despite saying that theyre “just ok” … hehe

With a bit of luck you might get the new Bonde do Role album free! ;)

Shame that Liverpool drew with Chealsea :-/

  2. ha-ha, big head!

they are “ok” really, but their songs are funny. actually, the reason I can’t wait is that they released their debut album in 2005. 3 years without new stuff is rubbish and makes people like me curious ;)
